JD Editions built the Unlock! app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by JD Editions at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
Personal information
No personal information (such as your full name, physical address, email address, telephone number, ...) is collected by the app.
Non Personal information
For a better experience, some non personal information may be used by the app or third party service providers used by the app.
Camera : some puzzles within the app require the use of the device camera.
The camera is used to perform image recognition of specific cards. When the app recognizes predefined cards, it displays information based on the recognized cards.
This process is know as Augmented Reality (AR), and in this case it is performed on the device and no data is stored or shared with a third party.
Microphone : some puzzles within the app require the use of the device microphone.
The microphone may be used to detect the user blowing on the device or to perform speech recognition.
In the case of speech recognition, Google servers (for android devices) and Apple servers (for iOS devices) are contacted to perform recognition.
Analytics : in order to improve the application and its upcoming updates we use Unity Analytics service to collect information about your game usage (which adventures are played, how long did it take for you to complete an adventure, ...) and your device (device type, operating system version , device language). This process allows us to adapt future adventures based on your experience.
Push Notifications : we use OneSignal service to send you notifications when new adventures are available.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
